People - Scott McGihon, LEED AP

Scott McGihon started his design career in Virginia, earning a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia in 2002.  He studied abroad through Denmark's International Study Program in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he developed a taste for European culture, architectural style, and sustainable design.  Since graduating, Scott has worked for firms in Charlottesville VA, Washington D.C., Chicago IL, and Boston MA, designing high-end homes, resorts, restaurants, institutional buildings, and hospitals.  In 2008, Scott became a LEED Accredited Professional in order to oversee the design and development of sustainable projects.

After meeting his wife, Melissa, in 2008, Scott and family decided to put down roots in Abbotsford, British Columbia, just East of Vancouver, where he incorporated Archonomics in 2010.  The company shares Scott's mission to add value to lives through design and to improve on the built and un-built environment.
